The Justice Theater Project premiered “FINDING MY VOICE” on June 4, 2021, a filmed performance addressing the experiences of an “accidental” opera singer whose life experiences influenced her performing abilities. Written and performed by Lee Galbreath, accompanied by Glenn Mehrbach, and directed by J Chachula.

This fascinating film will resonate with a broad swath of the population as many struggle with feelings of insecurity, the pressures of society, physical appearance, and the judgment of others.

Lee shares with us the intimate and hilarious tale of how she accidentally became an opera singer and how, eventually, disillusionment and grief left her unable to sing a note for two years. Touching on issues related to her religious upbringing, performance anxiety, body image insecurities, and the societal pressures facing female artists, Lee takes us on a one-woman tour de force of humor, honesty, and spectacular song, making us very glad indeed Lee has found

A raw, brave, and winding path ultimately led her back to the stage in this triumphant one-woman tour de force of humor, honesty, and spectacular song, thrilling us that Lee has, once again, found her voice.
